THIRTEEN at The Kazimier - Friday 13 January

The Kazimier Friday 13 January

everisland presents a night of aural disarray and devious occurrences

Friday 13th: A night whereby misfortune will guide you and superstition is your only friend.

Dance, drone & drift your way through this most devious of nights, as a selection of electro & folktronica acts beguile your senses & The HIVE Collective take you on a journey into the subconscious.

Live music from //

CAPAC // Liverpool-luminaries that blend progressive electronica, danceable beats and ambient, spiraling textures. After impressing us at Sound City, they have since supported Braids, Max Cooper and Ghosting Season; tonight will see them back in their hometown for the first time in too long.

SUN DRUMS // October saw the release their self-titled EP, awash with a sparse ambience of soundscapes, sweetened with vocal marvels. Featured on Tom Robinson’s BBC Introducing, they will bring their soothing & brooding technical alchemy to the night.

LOVED ONES // An act that imbue such poignant emotion into their marque of folktronica; meticulously arranged & deviously compelling, their music is both immersive and striking.

MAGIC YOUTH CLUB // New and exciting experimental sounds that tweak an alchemical warmth which is reminiscent of Caribou & Four Tet. Their set will display some of the finest pedigree in musical composition that Liverpool has to offer.

SUPERCELL // Radiohead-inspired hymns that presents a refreshingly minimalist blend of electro, which mimics the digitalisation of the genre through live instrumentation.
